COM 616 founder Adam Russo has been selected as a member of Grand Rapids Business Journal's 40 Under 40 business leaders. This is the third time Adam has been named to the list.

Each year, Grand Rapids Business Journal celebrates 40 individuals under the age of 40 making a difference in West Michigan. Since 2002, the GRBJ has recognized over 600 dynamic young professionals who have achieved personal success and made significant civic contributions to our community.

As the owner of public relations firm COM 616, Adam’s professional experience includes working with global brands like Haworth and Amway as well as regional companies like Varnum, Metro Health-University of Michigan and Comcast.

Adam is committed to community service and fitness. He currently serves as an executive board member for the Literacy Center of West Michigan, the vice president of the board for Affinity Mentoring, an ambassador for the Grand Rapids Chamber and the director of public relations for the Grand Rapids Asian-Pacific Festival. He also serves on board committees for PAWS With A Cause and the David D. Hunting YMCA.

Outside of the office, Adam enjoys playing with his dog, traveling and hiking with his wife, Meghan, as well as training and competing in Ironman triathlons.

In January 2020, Adam earned the distinction of Ironman All World Athlete (Bronze). Using an Age Group Ranking system, Ironman determines which athletes have finished within the top 10 percent or better of their age group each calendar year. Athletes accumulate points at every Ironman race they complete, but their top three performances count toward their All World Athlete status.

This year’s class will be revealed to the public on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, in a new, digital format. The 40 individuals will also be featured in the November 2 issue of the Grand Rapids Business Journal.
