COM 616 founder elected VP of board of directors

Affinity Mentoring recently announced several new elections to its board of directors. Among the appointments, COM 616 founder, Adam Russo, has been named vice president of the board. 

Affinity Mentoring is a nonprofit that provides one-on-one mentoring relationships for students at Burton Elementary, Burton Middle School, Southwest Community Campus and Godfrey-Lee Early Childhood Center. The Grand Rapids Chamber named Affinity Mentoring the 2019 Non-profit of the Year at its 10th annual EPIC Awards.

In addition to his role with Affinity Mentoring, Adam serves as an executive board member for the Literacy Center of West Michigan, ambassador for the Grand Rapids Chamber and director of public relations for the Grand Rapids Asian-Pacific Festival. He also serves on committees for PAWS With A Cause and the David D. Hunting YMCA.
